One of the E-Pacer’s highlights is the strong and sturdy electric lift column that will transfer the user to and from a sitting or standing stance with the minimum of effort. This walker system combines the support features of Rifton’s TRAM system with the gait training features of their original Pacer.

Along with moulded, supportive padding at the pelvis and belt areas, the E-Pacer has a comprehensive on-board scale accessory. This can be connected via cellphone Bluetooth to a gait and weight bearing tracking app, which will take the tally work out of your user’s training session. To top it all off, a host of streamlining and supporting accessories are available to help put the fun back intro your special needs user’s work out session.

Expertly designed and engineered for highly dependent and larger special needs users, with a maximum body weight of 350 lb. or 178.75 kg and a height of up to 77”. A key feature of this versatile and seriously streamlining gait trainer is its impressive and sturdy, telescopic electrical lift column. This invaluable feature will smoothly transfer the user from a low, seated position to full stand and then retract into a compact storage space of 32 3/4”.

This transfer system, with its secure pelvic support and thigh straps, will ensure that close to no effort is required by the carer during transfer. This lift column feature is equipped with a massive, 26” adjustment range, to suit the stature of any user . What’s more, the system can also conduct streamlined wheelchair to seat transfer, an invaluable aid for carer and user.

Gait Tracker

The E-Pacer scale pairs with smartphones or tablets via Bluetooth to show scale data on Rifton's Gait Tracker app. This app displays a running average of the weight measured by the scale and calculates average weight bearing during a gait training session.

Transfers Made Easy

The E-Pacer's electric lift ensures a safe and simple initial transfer, even for large users.
Here is one possible sequence for a no-lift transfer:

1. Transfer the user onto the pelvic support in a seated position using the thigh straps.

2. Use the pelvic support for a sit-to-stand transfer.

3. Begin gait training.

Integrated Scale

Weigh users during routine transfers, or monitor their weight-bearing during gait training. When paired with a tablet or phone via Bluetooth, track the user's progress with Rifton's Gait Tracker app.

Odometer Function

Forget counting tiles! The odometer easily records the distance a user walks, in feet or meters.

Front Handle Control

This front handle allows a caregiver to steer and guide the E-Pacer smoothly. It includes an up/down switch to adjust the height of the body support for optimal user comfort.

Switch Pole Utility

This switch pole allows a caregiver to operate the electric lift remotely, avoiding the need to bend down (when not using the front handle). It can be reversed to give the user control of the lift.

Our versatile arm prompts offer adjustments for height, rotation, angle, lateral proximity, and forward/backward movement to meet various user needs.
